Colity is an innovative online project which aims to be the first clothing brand
review platform available to consumers. Our aim us to provide consumers an
insight into clothing brands by categorising them according to:
• Fashion type i.e. fast fashion, mid-range, departmental fashion or high fashion
• Price range
• Fabrics (manmade or natural fibres)
• Ethical practices
Through a combination of a website and an app, consumers can research the
brands they shop with to understand more about their favourite brands.
The website will provide detailed information on brands and provide users an
option to review specific items on brand pages. The app will function to provide
summarised information on clothing brands and will allow consumers to research
fabric composition tags through the mobile phone camera. The purpose of Colity
is to give consumers the information they lack at present about clothing brands,
and get recommendations based on their buying habits.
